After doing this for 7+ years, we’ve learned what does and does not work and what resources and programs have been helpful along the way. As you know, being a business owner can quickly become overwhelming if you don’t have programs, systems and workflows in place that you love! All of these programs have truly changed my business, helped give me ease in my personal life and free up my time. I strongly encourage you to give each of these a try and see what a huge difference they can make in your business and Etsy Shop as well!
Collective
Collective is an online platform that handles creating an LLC, setting up your S-Corp with the IRS, bookkeeping, payroll and, if that isn’t enough, they file your business taxes quarterly and annually. They truly are an all in one service.
Metricool
Metricool is a super awesome, and affordable scheduling tool that allows us to schedule all of our posts for Instagram, Facebook AND Pinterest in one place so that all of our posts will be automatically shared without us having to go in and do it ourselves.
Flodesk
Flodesk is an amazing email marketing platform that is easy to use and allows us to quickly get out high quality emails to our subscribers. We are also able to set up forms, sales funnels and automated workflows from within the platform which has been awesome for growth and sales!
Dropbox
We’re sure you’ve heard of Dropbox, it’s been around forever, but it really is a great place to store and organize important files and be able to share them with your team as well. We store so many fonts, designs, graphics, listing images, and soooo much more within Dropbox.
Canva
We use Canva not only for all of our templates we sell within our Etsy Shop, but also for basically all of the graphics we share on our blog, Pinterest, social media channels, even images we share within our Flodesk emails, etc. Canva is the current KING of accessible graphic design (especially for business owners that aren’t confident in graphic design!) and we recommend it to everyone!
Etsy
We can’t post a blog about programs Esty Sellers can’t live without without including Etsy itself!! Etsy is a global online marketplace, where people come together to make, sell, buy, and collect unique items. We have seen soooo much success using Etsy over the years, and know with hard work and hustle, it’s possible for anyone!
Slack
As a 2 person team, we absolutely looooove Slack for daily communication!! We literally use it every single day to stay in touch on tasks, reminders and even personal communication between the two of us. We love that you can access it on both your desktop and mobile devices so it’s easy to use.
Creative Market
While Etsy can be a good place to shop for fonts, clipart and mockup images… my absolute favorite resource for this is Creative Market. I’d say 90% of the clipart, fonts, etc. I use in my best-selling designs comes from here! The options are endless and the designs are top quality!
Prints of Love
Prints of Love is one of the main online printers I refer my customers to. If you sell printables, you can apply to be a partner and earn referrals and a percentage of the profit when people order prints using your unique ID link.
